WCDS School of Music

Westchester's School of Music program provides the convenience of private music lessons on the WCDS campus.

Private lessons are taught by experienced instructors and are offered at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels:

  • Guitar
  • Piano
  • Voice
  • Violin

Private lessons are offered in 30-minute increments either during the school day or after school. Longer lessons may be available for more advanced students with instructor approval. Students in all divisions may participate, depending on the individual teacher’s policy.

Performances

Live performances are an integral part of musical education. Performance opportunities are scheduled throughout the year, and students are encouraged to participate. Teachers will communicate recital/performance dates with parents.

Parent Involvement
