Students Explore Career Interests at Fair
Westchester Country Day School students and faculty attended a school-wide Career Fair on Feb. 7. The event provided students with an opportunity to learn about many different careers represented within the Westchester community through hands-on exhibits.
The event was organized by WCDS faculty members and parent volunteers. Westchester families and other volunteers from the community gave of their time to represent businesses and share their jobs through activities, food samples, games and interactive displays.
Students of all ages had a great time learning about a variety of professions, including business, medicine, psychology, home furnishings, manufacturing, event management, law and more.
"We are excited to have approximately 30 vendors from all different careers and trades come and share their wealth of knowledge with our students," said Heather Singer, school counselor and organizer of this year's fair.
