Cast Selected for "Afraid of the Dark"

Westchester Country Day School will present "Afraid of the Dark" for this year's Upper School production.

The show will be performed in Rives Hall on March 4 and 5 at 7:30 p.m. and March 6 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door, which includes the show and dessert/drink. A selection of pastries, cake, cookies, coffee, tea, and soda will be served.

"Afraid of the Dark" is a mystery-farce in three acts by James Reach. The plot includes an outrageously funny basic situation, terrific pace and suspense and laughs galore. Chauncey and Lillums arrive at "Stone Mansion" for their honeymoon. It's an isolated country estate belonging to his aunt and supposedly unoccupied. Chauncey confesses he's been "afraid of the dark" ever since childhood. Having unburdened himself, the lights suddenly go out! And then they go on again and they find they're surrounded by fantastic characters in this supposedly deserted house. Then they find themselves in the midst of a spy plot---with a twist!
