WCDS Holds Graduation for Class of 2021
Westchester Country Day School will celebrate the Class of 2021 during the school’s 50th graduation ceremony.
The event will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in High Point. Attendance is open to family and guests of the graduates, faculty and staff, and rising seniors.
The ceremony also will be livestreamed online through YouTube for anyone to watch. You can view the livestream directly on YouTube or through the video player below.
Westchester’s graduation ceremony includes unique traditions for honoring the graduates. One of those traditions is the faculty speakers, who are selected by the graduates to share personal reflections about their time as WCDS students as they come forward to receive their diplomas.
All 29 members of this year’s graduating class have been accepted to at least one college or university and have plans to continue their education this fall. In total, they were accepted to 44 different colleges and universities and were awarded more than $3 million in scholarships. The valedictorian is Mikey Schwartz, and the salutatorian is Forrest Grimes.
