Travel Abroad with WCDS
Have you ever wanted to travel to the Galápagos Islands? Middle School students will get the chance to do so this summer. While visiting Ecuador and the Galápagos, they will experience the diverse ecosystems, landscapes and wildlife found there.
Upper School students likewise will have an amazing time traveling to Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic. The best part is that both trips are open for more students to join in these once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and there is a Travel Abroad Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday where you can find out more.
Westchester made a commitment more than 10 years ago to bring travel abroad opportunities to our students. We believe travel is for everyone. When students go beyond the classroom it brings education to life, unlocks new potential and opens a world of possibilities. When students travel on these tours, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, grow more confident and independent, and understand new people, places and cultures. That is why we prioritize travel opportunities for our Middle and Upper School students specifically.
We hope you will consider joining us on a trip soon. On the Middle School trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos, June 10-18, 2022, we will see many amazing sights over the course of nine days. For Upper School students, the exciting trip to Europe will go to Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic, June 14-24, 2022. Over the course of 11 days, we will see everything from the Trevi Fountain to the Olympic Stadium in Munich.
Join us at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, in the library to learn more. If you’d like to attend the meeting, please RSVP to me by Tuesday at [email protected].
