Westchester Seniors Recognized for PSAT Performance

Five students from Westchester Country Day School have been named Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Seniors Ashley George, Charlotte Martin, Carter Scavo, Sophia Singer and Katie Todd will receive a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program. They are among about 34,000 students throughout the nation being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.

Although they will not continue in the competition for scholarship awards, Commended Students place among the top students who entered the competition by taking the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

The announcement released by the NMSC applauds their scholastic talent and demonstrated potential for academic success as they pursue their future educational opportunities.
