Character Word for December is Generosity
Westchester Country Day School's character word for the month of December is GENEROSITY -- making someone's day by giving something away. The character word is emphasized by the color celadon and the animal vicuña.
Students will be learning what it means to have GENEROSITY during Community Meetings and classroom guidance lessons throughout the month. Westchester follows the Core Essential Values character education program, which helps teach students to treat others right, make smart decisions, and maximize their potential through a focus on a monthly character trait.
