Respect Is the Character Word for February
Westchester Country Day School’s character word for the month of February is RESPECT -- showing others they are important by what you say and do. The character word is emphasized by the color royal blue and the animal dingo.
Students will be learning what it means to have RESPECT during Community Meetings and classroom guidance lessons throughout the month. Westchester follows the Core Essential Values character education program, which helps teach students to treat others right, make smart decisions, and maximize their potential through a focus on a monthly character trait. This is a part of the school’s mission to support students in pursuing moral excellence.
