Pat Kahny was inducted into the Westchester Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016. He served as Westchester’s athletic director from 1989 – 2011. Under his leadership Westchester was awarded the Wachovia Cup twice, and boasted 20 state championships in eight different sports. Kahny also served as a board member of the NCISAA from 1994-2002 and 2008-2011. As head coach of the Varsity Boys Basketball team, Kahny orchestrated 430 wins at WCDS (500 overall in his career), four state championship titles, three state runners-up titles, 13 conference regular season championships, 13 conference tournament championships, and was named Conference Coach of the Year 10 times. Kahny also coached Varsity Girls Volleyball and Varsity Golf at WCDS.
