Lasse Palomaki was inducted into the Westchester Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021. He was a member of the 2010 state championship soccer team. As a WCDS student-athlete, he was named the soccer MVP (2010) and Conference Player of the Year (2011). He earned All-Conference (2010, 2011), NCISAA All-State (2010, 2011), NCSCA All-Region (2010, 2011), and NCSCA All-State (2010) honors. After graduating from WCDS in 2012, Palomaki attended UNC Greensboro on scholarship, where he played Division I soccer from 2012 to 2014. He served as an assistant coach for WCDS in 2013. He earned both his undergraduate business degree and an MBA from UNCG and established a career building and facilitating training programs. Currently, he is a professional development specialist for UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and Economics, where he develops curriculum and teaches various leadership development courses for undergraduate students. He will be partnering with Westchester during the 2021-2022 school year to offer personal and professional development for Upper School students.
