Virginia Marsh was inducted into the Westchester Athletic Hall of Fame in 2022. Marsh was a four-time state record holder and a six-time state champion. She was Conference Swimmer of the Year in 2014 and 2015, and she was a three-time MVP Swimmer of the Year. She is the first female swimmer inducted into the Westchester Athletic Hall of Fame. Marsh started her collegiate swimming career at the University of Richmond and was a part of the championship team that won the A-10s during her first year (2016-17). At Richmond, she logged two top-3 finishes in both the 100-meter freestyle and the 200-meter freestyle. She holds the university record in the 200-meter freestyle. Marsh transferred to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a letterman and member of the conference team that competed at the ACC. She was on the ACC Academic Honor Roll her senior year. Marsh graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and sports administration. She is currently an inside sales representative at Professional Sports Publications Publishing. "Virginia Marsh is simply the best female Wildcat swimmer in school history. Each time I walk by the swimming record board outside of my office I am reminded of that, as she holds a record in every event our school offers!” said Schwartz. “Not only is she an incredible athlete, but Virginia was also a great role model to the younger swimmers at Westchester in and out of the pool. We are so happy to welcome her into the Hall of Fame, and honor her for all her incredible accomplishments."
